This is probably not really helpful to my psyche… but sometimes when I’m feeling bad about myself I go through my facebook pictures and look at how large I used to be… I know I have a way to go until I reach the body that I want but I’ve really come a long way and seeing those pictures sort of reminds me to keep it off and also show me that I’ve definitely looked...

Haircut Hangover
I’m having a haircut hangover… you know?
I know my hair cut is great… and the color is fabulous… but I’m just so worried that it’s not me and that I won’t be able to style it… ohhhh ponytails you’ve always been my best friend and now I really can’t use you… I’m scared…
But it really is kind of fab.

I've got my John Wayne Fix
I think I may have become obsessed with the Wayne man over the past few days. I have watched Rio Bravo, McClintock, and The Searchers. Why do I have nothing else on my Tivo to fill this void?

I love it when my parents totally forget it’s my brithday… because you think it wouldn’t be that hard- we celebrated christmas yesterday and then you woke up this morning and you should remember that something very important happened 25 years ago… and i’m not kidding when I say I love it- because I really do… they do it every year- once they went out to do...

I woke up this morning at 530 when my alarm went off and the first thing I thought was- “I don’t work today why the fuck is my alarm going off?” And then I rememberd it’s Christmas.
It’s easy to forget that when you spend the night before drinking too much champagne at work, eating eggs with your bosses, and then jumping out of a cab that’s headed to your house...

I love how relevant I feel this quote is to me but it’s really said about a life and death situation.

Wouldn’t it be my luck that I feel this need to write and it’s the one time I didn’t bring my laptop or a notebook with me….. So frustrated!
Also may I never take space for granted again- my childhood bedroom (where I’m sleeping tonight) is atleast three times the size of my room now… I feel like an ant right now.
While I know I’ll regret coming home to an extent when I work six days this week without really feeling like I had a day off- I wouldn’t trade this night for anything! I love my family and friends… May I have a job next year that makes this trip more doable.

Whenever I’m on a train going to Lancaster I always get this antsy feeling like- why the fuck aren’t I there yet.
I take a train everyday and while it’s not three hours I’m never too anxious about not being home yet- in fact I almost miss my stop about once a week..,
Get I’m almost twenty five I should be able to wait twenty minutes.
